Hey There — I'm Marisol

Welcome to The Lyberty Studio. I'm Marisol, a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) based in Tehachapi, California, and I created this space because neurodivergent students and families deserve more than a checkbox approach to support.

 

I've spent my career working inside public school systems — which means I know exactly how IEP meetings work, what evaluators are looking for, and where families often get lost in the process. Now I bring that knowledge directly to you.

 

My Mission

At The Lyberty Studio, I believe neurodiversity isn't a problem to be fixed — it's a different way of thinking, learning, and experiencing the world. My mission is to provide comprehensive, personalized support that helps neurodivergent individuals and their families advocate confidently, understand their rights, and thrive on their own terms.

My Background

I hold a California Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) credential and bring deep expertise in psychoeducational assessments, special education law (IDEA), IEP processes, and learning difference evaluations including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and Specific Learning Disabilities. I've worked across the K-12 spectrum and have extensive experience navigating the public school special education system from the inside.

 

I'm also a member of my community here in the Tehachapi mountains — which means I understand the specific challenges families in Kern County and rural Southern California face when trying to access quality support for their kids.

I'm based in Tehachapi, CA and serve families throughout Kern County, the greater Bakersfield area, and Southern California. Coaching services are available statewide via telehealth.
